Help and phone setup

Approve new SSH connections to bigfoot-build-01, or trust an IP for future connections.

Requests expire after 90 seconds. Approve only a connection you recognize. Each decision asks for your passkey.

Approve allows one connection. Approve and trust IP also skips phone approval for future connections from that exact IP, for every allowed SSH account with a valid key. Devices sharing a public IP share this trust.

Revoke removes trust for that server and IP. The next new connection needs phone approval; existing sessions stay open. IPv4 and IPv6 addresses are trusted separately.

Set up this phone

  1. Add to Home Screen. On iPhone, open this site in Safari, use Share → Add to Home Screen, then open the new app.
  2. Enroll your passkey. For first setup, use the enrollment secret supplied by your administrator. After enrollment, close this help and choose Sign in.
  3. Enable notifications. Sign in, then allow notifications from the Home Screen app.
  4. Test a notification. Confirm that a push arrives on your phone before SSH enforcement is enabled.
First-time enrollment

Enrollment closes as soon as the owner passkey is created. A lost passkey requires administrator recovery.

SSH keys are always required. Existing sessions stay open.
